Weighing approximately 90gsm, this fabric combines a smooth, lustrous surface with a crisp, springy handle that gives loops, petals and gathered details body and volume.
“Puffy” describes the fabric’s full-bodied appearance when shaped or gathered. It is a single-layer fabric, without padding or filling.
LIGHTWEIGHT WITH BODY & STRUCTURE
This fabric has a firmer handle than soft, flowing satin. It naturally forms rounded loops when folded and gives bows and fabric flowers a dimensional appearance.
It allows a little light through, particularly under strong lighting. The appearance will vary depending on the colour, lighting and number of layers used.

The fabric is supplied unmade, ready for you to measure, cut and style.
PLANNING YOUR PROJECT
For chair sashes, measure around your chair back and allow additional length for your chosen knot, bow loops and tails. The number of sashes you can make will depend on the length used for each chair.
For table runners, measure your table length and add your preferred overhang at each end.
Allow extra fabric for gathering, overlapping petals, seams and finishing. Large flowers, extended petals and upright leaves may require floral wire, backing, stitching or other supports. Cut edges may require a suitable finish for your project.
